Social Media Cultivation
Workshops
Your Social Media should add to your life, not add to your stress!
We spend hours of every day on social media. Research tells us that those hours have a detriment on our mental health, however recent studies show that it is the quality not the quantity of social media that has the greatest impact on our mental health.
How can you craft your social media to work for you? This workshop will walk participants through psycho-education on the impacts (positive and negative) of social media, provide framework for cultivating your social media individualized for you, and give you directed time to work on your personal cultivation.
Led by Angela Funke, MA, LMFTS & Assisted by Therapist Andrea Duran
Participants must live in Texas.
Two sessions available - Session One (Teens) & Session Two (Adults)

Saturday March 2, 1-4pm.
Join us for a hands on workshop to learn about the impact of social media and how to craft our social media to bring us more joy, connection and smiles.
Social media and peer influence can be challenging for youth today. Nobody teaches us how to use social media, and yet it has a great impact on our lives.
Let's learn together how to navigate, cultivate and prune social media in ways that works for us.
Session 2 - Adults
Adults are invited to Session Two. Sunday March 3, 1-4pm
Join us for a hands on workshop to learn about the impact of social media and how to craft our social media to bring us more joy, connection and smiles.
For many adults, we grew up before, or as social media was emerging. We've had little guidance on how to use it to lift us up and how to avoid having it drag us down.
Let's learn together how to navigate, cultivate and prune social media in ways that works for us.
