Some experiences are hard to explain. You might think about them constantly, try to talk them through, or journal about them—but still feel like something hasn’t fully landed.
Processing in Stereo offers a different way in.
This 6-week experiential therapy group combines guided journaling, emotional processing, and simple AI-assisted songwriting tools to help you translate your inner world into music. Instead of just talking about what you feel, you’ll create something that reflects it—giving you a new way to understand, express, and relate to your experiences.
No musical background is needed. Just bring your thoughts, your feelings, and a willingness to explore.

This group is facilitated by Angela Funke, MA, LMFT-S, a licensed marriage and family therapist supervisor with over 15 years of experience. Angela brings both professional expertise and lived experience to create a safe, welcoming, and empowering space. She is excited to share this amazing tool to help take your emotional processing and creativity to the next level.
Participants often find that this process helps them:
Access and express emotions that are difficult to put into words
Gain new perspective on personal experiences
Feel a sense of relief through creative expression
Build self-compassion and understanding
Experience connection and validation in a group setting
Leave with a collection of songs that reflect different parts of their story
This group is not about making “perfect” music—it’s about making meaning.
This group may be a good fit if you:
Feel stuck in your thoughts or emotions and want a new way to process
Have tried journaling or talk therapy and want something more experiential
Struggle to articulate what you’re feeling
Are curious about creative or non-traditional approaches to therapy
Want a structured but low-pressure space to reflect and explore
No musical or technical experience is required. We’ll walk you through everything you need.
We use simple, accessible AI tools to help turn your writing into music. These tools are used as a support, not a replacement for your voice or creativity. You remain the author of your experience—the technology simply helps bring it to life in a new format.
Sometimes processing isn’t just about talking—it’s about hearing yourself in a new way.
Join us for Processing in Stereo and create something that reflects what you’ve been carrying.
